Attar of Osmanthus Natural Fragrance

Pure Natural Blend

Fruity and Floral and Exotic - A little Touch of Luxury

Osmanthus petalsAttar of Osmanthus is a fruity floral blend of natural perfume oils. This natural women's perfume contains exotic Osmanthus Absolute, known as the Jasmine of the Orient, in a base of Sandalwood essential oil and Sunflower oil. Osmanthus Absolute is derived from a flower native to China. It's generally only used in the most expensive perfumes. A very special aromatherapy perfume.

You can apply this natural perfume directly to your skin. Alternatively, you could add it to a carrier oil or body lotion. To avoid the risk of marking clothing, apply and leave to absorb for five minutes before getting dressed. (Contains a small amount of denatured alcohol for ease of flow.)

Natural Fragrances

Natural fragrances collectionThere was a time when all perfumes were made with natural ingredients. But by the turn of the 20th Century laboratories began synthesizing scents to replace essential oils. This was to reduce costs and guarantee uniformity. But the chemical composition of natural oils cannot be synthetically duplicated, especially such complex and delicate oils as rose and jasmine.

Many people believe that it is the synthetic chemicals found in many commercial perfumes that contributes to the increasing incidence of allergies and other negative reactions. Oshadhi Natural Fragrances are guaranteed pure and unadulterated and contain the vitality of pure essential oils.

What is Attar?

Attar also known as ittar is a natural perfume oil derived from botanical sources, such as flowers (jasmine, rose, sandalwood and more), herbs, spices, or barks. The word "attar" comes from the word `atir, which in the Persian language means "sweet or fragrant."

These natural perfumes are highly concentrated and therefore are usually offered for sale in small quantities. Because they are so concentrated a small bottle will last the user several weeks, if not months. Attars are popular throughout the Middle East, South Asia (Far East of India, Bangladesh and Pakistan) and parts of Africa. Attars have been used in the Eastern world for thousands of years.
