Maharishi Vedic University invites students interested in programmes to bring Perfect Health to society to become Maharishi Ayurveda Technicians / Therapists and get positions in the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centres or Maharishi Spas around the world.
Application procedure:
lease use the standard application and recommendation forms (will be sent by MAAI to National Office or the local TM-Centre under request), and send them back to Maharishi Ayurveda Administration, including a certificate of no contra-indication.
Criteria for eligibility:
- Regular practice of TM: required.
- No smoking, no drinking of alcohol.
- Very good health, physical and mental. A certificate of no contra-indication signed by an independent medical doctor is required.
- Having a friendly, open and flexible attitude, being capable of taking care of other people and of cooperating with other Technicians, are some of the qualities expected of a Maharishi Ayurveda Technician.
- Upper age limit: 50 years (over 50 possible when very good health, confirmed by the health certificate)
- Commitment to working full-time in a Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre or Maharishi Spa after the course (a recommendation from the Director of the Spa or Health Centre is required).
- Having had a taste of Maharishi Ayurveda massages or treatments, e.g. abhyanga/shirodhara/basti (recommended).
- The course is held in English. When translation is needed, it has to be organized by the participants (compensations for translators not covered by MVU).
Course fee:

- Tuition fee: 2000 EUR
- Room and Board: many possibilities of accommodation, starting at Eur 31.-per day including food (3 meals).
