With Maharishi Ayurveda we learn that there are 3 fundamental physiological principles, called doshas which regulate the different functions of the mind and body. These are called Vata, Pitta & Kapha. Imbalance in these doshas is responsible for various disorders.  Vata is responsible for all transport, movement & communication in the body. However, Vata dosha can easily be disturbed by change & irregular routine during travel.
